currently add recorded under pettty expenses though selection ledger is salary but its not right to selecte petty expenses to record salary / bonuses etc

We understand your concern and are definately taking the same into consideration.
We are working onto create a seperate template as well, specifically for the payslips or salary slips, which will be integrated with ledgers and Financial Reports as well.
