This new item categorization feature ensures every item in your inventory is systematically categorized - making it easier to track sellable items and manage stock.
What's new?
- Clear Item Categories: Every item now belongs to a predefined category likeFinished Goods, Raw Materials, Semi-Finished Goods, Consumables, Packaging Materials, and more - ensuriing better stock organization.
- Sellable/Non-Sellable Flag:Items are marked as sellable or non-sellable based on their category.
Sellable
→ available for sales documentsNon-sellable
→ available only in purchase documentsFor example:
If an item is in the Raw Materials category, it will not appear in the line item suggestions of sales documents (unless you change the configuration).
What's more?
- The system will automatically decide whether the stock should be managed for a particular item based on the stock category (you can override this with the "Manage Stock" checkbox).
- You can also filter items based on their Category,Sellable Status, andTracking Methoddirectly from the inventory dashboard!
